’90 Day Fiance’ Season 9: Mohamed slammed for expecting Yve to be his ‘servant and tour guide’

Braving cultural differences on ’90 Day Fiance’ isn’t always easy – couples need to understand that things work differently for their foreign partners, and it certainly takes time to adjust to a new lifestyle. It’s a trade-off, as both individuals need to be understanding of each other.

Fans weren’t sure about Mohamed and Yve’s relationship from the start, and it’s for good reason. For Mohamed, who let it be known that his mother had done everything for him in Egypt, he seems to expect the same treatment from Yves.

As he settled in, ready to face his first day in the United States, he was upset that Yve had to go to work and couldn’t take him. He also noted that he wanted breakfast in bed and that his mother had made breakfast for him, but Yve expected him to cook himself. He repeated that his mother always took care of him and expected Yves to do the same. Fans were appalled at his attitude and called him out on it.

“Hamza 2.0 – he’s waiting for breakfast because mom makes it for him at home. Especially when he’s in bed. Why do women insist on going out with these adult children. If you don’t get up, prepare some fried eggs and coffee. #90DayFiance,” one fan tweeted. “Mohammad should cook Eve’s breakfast in bed since she is the only provider of financial services at the moment. It’s not her job to go to work and then come home and work for you. # 90DayFiance,” said another. “All my years of reading Freud for my English degrees has more than prepared me to declare that there is a weird oedipal dynamic between Muhammad and Yve #90dayfiance,” one fan tweeted.

“Yve literally put together everything Mohammed needs to make eggs and he’s still upset. #90DayFiance,” a fan added. “Lol Mohamed expected Yves to be a servant and tour guide. Wife has to work to support her new son #90DayFiance,” another tweeted. “This child man is going to burn down your house. #90DayFiance” warned another viewer.
