CEB steps up flights to 6 national destinations – Manila Bulletin

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) is adding more flights to key domestic destinations, namely Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and General Santos, following the relaxation of travel restrictions.

In a statement, the airline said it would increase its Manila-Boracay-Manila flights six to nine times a day from November 22, operating more than its pre-COVID capacity to the island. By next month, Boracay flights from Cebu will be up to six times a week.

Flights between Bohol and Manila will also drop from 12 times a week to twice a day starting November 23.

By December, flights between Cebu and Manila will drop from six times a day to nine times a day, while flights to Cagayan de Oro will drop from five times a day to six times a day.

Flights from Manila to Davao will drop from five times a week in December to three times a day.

Meanwhile, CEB now flies daily to General Santos.

“We continue to develop our national network to meet the growing demand for travel and promote safe and responsible travel. In this way, we enable the public to restore the confidence and confidence of travelers, while paving the way for economic recovery, ”said Xander Lao, Commercial Director of Cebu Pacific.

Boracay has implemented the acceptance of fully vaccinated people only, starting November 16. Minors (12-17 years old) are required to present any proof of full vaccination status or a negative result of the RT-PCR test (saliva, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal) taken within 72 hours of the date of travel. Children under 12 are exempt from submitting RT-PCR results and must be accompanied by fully immunized persons.

Fully vaccinated travelers to Bohol, Cebu and General Santos should present their vaccination record instead of swab testing. Adult travelers can bring their children under the age of four to enter Bohol.

Misamis Oriental visitors can simply register with S-PaSS and StaySafe.Ph, while Davao does not require arriving guests to present travel documents upon check-in.

“As more destinations open their borders and simplify travel requirements, we look forward to more LGUs to follow suit, especially for those fully vaccinated. These developments are perfect for families who want to travel this Christmas season and visit Filipino destinations, ”added Lao.

For international destinations, Cebu Pacific will also resume operations to Bangkok every Saturday from December 11 of this year, and to Fukuoka every Tuesday from December 7, 2021.

Passengers are encouraged to travel responsibly and ensure their requirements are met before traveling to the airport and to check with their destination LGU for other specific requirements for entry.

The CEB operates with an active 100 percent vaccinated flight crew.
