New Kids on the Block Calls on “Legendary Guests” for New Tour
New Kids on the Block has invited old friends over for their next national tour.
The boy group announced Monday that hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa, singer-songwriter Rick Astley and R&B group En Vogue will join NKOTB on their 2022 tour of the MixTape arenas, which will feature several stops in California next spring.
“We had a blast on the first MixTape Tour of 2019 and can’t wait to take it to another level with our fans on the MixTape Tour 2022,” NKOTB star Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement.

During the tour’s first stop, NKOTB and its “Legendary Guests” will appear at Viejas Arena in San Diego (May 26), Staples Center in Los Angeles (May 27) and Honda Center in Anaheim (May 28) before heading to the Save Mart in Fresno. Center (May 31), SAP Center in San Jose (June 1) and Golden 1 Center in Sacramento (June 2).
The MixTape Tour Bus will also travel to many other major cities between May and July, including Nashville, New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, Orlando, Florida, and the headliner’s hometown. , Boston.
The group’s announcement comes about two months after the singers sold out for the first time in two years at Fenway Park in Boston.
