UAE offers multiple-entry tourist visa to FIFA World Cup ticket holders
According to a recent announcement from the UAE Government Media Office, FIFA World Cup ticket holders will soon be able to apply for a multiple-entry tourist visa for the United Arab Emirates. Holders of Hayya cards, which serve as identification for fans and are the necessary documentation to participate in tournament matches from November 20 to December 18, will get the visa.
Hayya app for FIFA World Cup
On November 1, applications will be accepted. The visa will cost AED 100 and will be valid for 90 days, with the option of an additional 90 day validity. Citizens of visa-free countries are not included as they can already come to live in the UAE under current regulations.
First, Hayya cardholders should visit the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) website. Then, after choosing the “Smart Channels” link, customers should choose “Utilities”.
Navigate here to go directly to the public services page, where you can see all the visa alternatives available. This will save you from having to click through many pages. You can complete the application form by scrolling down to “Hayya Card Holders” on this website.
The “Hayya Card Holders” option is currently not visible on the site. However, it will most likely be visible when the application process begins on November 1.
